Keep it Neat

Your flowers ARE beautiful.  To just about everyone.  But will they be to your buyer?

One thing to remember – you are not trying to be a florist, you are trying to sell your house.  In the example above, one of the most striking features of this house is the covered porch and the brick corners.  Accentuate what you want to sell, not what you loved about living there.

When your buyer walks up, let them see how great the view is from the porch.  If they decide they want flowers, they will spend a couple hundred dollars and make in happen.  If they want a nice view of the neighborhood, all they see here is work.

Grab a few bulbs from your magnificent Hollyhocks and recreate the floral magic in your new home.  Let your buyer’s eyes drink in the beauty of that porch, and watch those offers come in.
